My go-to japanese resto in the area. Everything has been good except the ramens, they could be better. But their spicy salmon and curry katsu are great! Also the volcano shrimp.

The taste improved compared to when I first had a taste during their soft opening. Some can still be improved though but overall, the food we ordered is worth its price. Service can be greater, servers should be attentive to diners, also, a background music or ambiance music wouldn't hurt. Aesthetics is nice, nicer if there's a bit of Japanese music.

I was surprised to see this restaurant's low rating because it deserves a much more decent score. The Food: The food offers great value. I ordered the miso ramen, which was good and worth the price. While the pork tonkatsu isn't the best I've had, it's fair for what you pay. The chashu rice, however, is excellent, especially considering its affordable price. The Ambiance & Service: The ambiance is okay, though a bit too "extra" for my taste and the place is a little dim. The main issue, and likely the reason for the low ratings, is the service. The waiting staff are inattentive and slow, which is a shame because the kitchen chef is quite efficient.

This place is almost always packed because of their affordable dishes and filling portions but honestly nothing remarkable. I wonder where they bought their fan wall decor.

The food and portion was definitely great! But the restaurant interior needs more color Ii to brighten up, a different color I suggest!
